I need a home visit
Very occasionally, someone is too ill to come to the surgery and the doctor can visit. Please phone in any requests for home visits as early as possible in the morning. A doctor is likely to phone you back before visiting.
While sometimes necessary, home visits are time-consuming and disruptive for the surgery. If you think you need a home visit simply because you can’t organise transport to the surgery, please ring around your friends and family and find a way to get in if at all possible. It helps everybody if you can.
